Reusable bags have become the next great saviors of the planet – a green solution to the bane of the environment, the single-use plastic bag.
Reusable shopping bags are much sturdier, allowing for multiple uses, which should mean needing fewer of them to do the same job. However, they also plastic, and are likely causing more harm than good: they take four times as much plastic to produce as older single use bags and are, very often, still used a single time.
Fabrick aims to alleviate the environmental strain of reusable plastic bags by turning them into a raw material that can be used to produce goods that people actually want to use, rather than "reusable" bags that are often simply not used at all.
